Who does God side with in a war? Isn't war an act of killing on a large scale?

Neither....He resists the proud and without pride on both sides, you can't have war.

Read the Bible...King David fought in wars. Sometimes God was on his side, sometimes he wasn't. In my mind it's not the cause the justifies God's presence, it's the motive, the thoughts and attitude of the heart. Look at the Civil War..both sides believed God was with them...Strange.

I would have to say He would only side with the one who is defending their nation or freedom. Not the attacker. If both are equally in the wrong then nobody.

i dont think god sides with war.I do think he will harshly judge the ones who but the war into action.
