Some time ago, the oil pressure light on my car started flickering. I went to a shop and they told me the oil pressure switch (sending unit) was leaking oil and they changed a new one. A few days later, the light came on again and I went back to the shop. They told me the unit was bad and they changed another one for me without charge. A couple of months later, it started flickering again. This time, the shop told me that the unit was burnt out due to low oil level as the oil level was about 1 quart from the maximum line. Still, they said they changed the unit for me since it’s still under warranty but they charged me for the labor.

Here is my question. Can oil pressure switch (sending unit) be burnt out that easily just because of low oil level? Where can I find product specifications or other helpful information? Is this normal practice for repair shops?

My cat keeps getting into fights and it seems that he loses. He has very large cuts behind his ear and on his front paw. They are massive in size and he keeps ripping them open. They ooze alot and he's had them for almost half a year now. I can't take him to the vet because of the prices but I would like to doze my cat so I can atleast disinfect the wounds.

My friends Boyfriend has tryed to kiss me twice (he's also good friends with my boyfriend and brother).The first time we were at a party and he offered to give me and my brother a ride home, then when we got in the car he told my brother to stay at the party that he would just take my home and be right back, when we got to my house he tryed to kiss me and wanted some thing else too. I told him I wanted to go back to the party that I wasn't going home without my brother. I tryed to pretend like it never happened but then.2 days ago he came to my house 2 hang out with my brother they were outside then he came in my house to try and talk to me and AGAIN 2 try and kiss me. I felt soo uncomfortable with everything that I had to tell my boyfriend he's now no longer talking to him, but here's the real problem. I don't know what to do about my friend. Her and her boyfriend have been together for 6 years and he lies to her all the time and she ALWAYS beleives his lies should I tell her?HELP!!

people next doors dog attacked my puppy puppy is coherant eating and drinking but head is swollen 2x's normal think skull was cracked my vet says there is no emergency cause she is eating drinking and playful but did not tell me how to get swelling down

True...what clinton did was shameful and not good for the world image of america. Funny though isnt it that the cons were more worried then of the worlds view of us than they are now? Noone likes us no and their reply is we dont care what people think about us..

her stools are soft and the doctor is telling me this is still constipation, i've tried using karo syrup and juice but nothing works he now told me to use Glycerin Suppositories. i tried using a thermometer with vasline and this worked great but i was told that this would only teacher her to have a stool only when helped. i would have to do this every two days. just to relieve the discomfort. help new first time mum

I had pulled over onto a gravel sideroad, about midnight out in the country, was talking on my cell phone, a cop drives up & comes to my window. He says a passerby had flagged him down & said they had stopped & pecked on my car window but got no response, like I was supposed to be passed out or sleeping or something (complete lie). A pickup truck did drive by, but they didn't stop. So while I was talking to this cop, he says he smells alcohol. I don't drink. (Lie #2) Made me get out, searched me, my car, & gave me a sobriety test but not a breath analyzer. How do I defend myself against lying cops? I thought I was going to be arrested. I am a 51 yr old white female, have a clean record, never been arrested & have had one speeding ticket (school zone) & 2 parking tickets in my entire life. Please, only serious answers.
