I work at a Korean Elementary School and the school provided me with housing. I live in a "shatek". A week ago I went on vacation in Busan and gave the school's administation office the numbers of people I would visit there as well as the number of the hotel I would stay at in any case of emergency. Then the area I stay in had a power failure. I came back to a stinking home, because the fridge was off and I lost all my frozen veggies and meats. The TV also didn't survive the power failure. The "shatek" is very old and needs a lot of work, but the school doesn't want to take any responsibility for fixing it up. The only thing they did was put on new wallpaper. The water leakages and the lack of an aircon are driving me nuts! Should the administration office pay for my losses and any work done (and paid) by myself on the place?

I live in New Hampshire and I have been looking into buying a house. It seems to me that when house prices are low, interest rates are high, and when interest rates are low, house prices are high. Is there really a better time to buy a house compared to other times? Someone I know said we should wait because houses are not appreciating very well in the area right now, but, is this true? And is it better to continue renting? The prices in the area are outrageous at best, and I can't believe that there is ever going to be a time when they are going to be lower. It seems to me that if appreciation continues at any rate, that ordinary people wont be able to afford a house at all. $200,000 plus for a small place seems crazy. Any input on this?

Lately our router or something like it was acting up pretty bad so we had to do without it with our only protection from things on the net being Zone Alarm. But just a matter of minutes ago I opened up the window, checked what was going on in general with it, and then it said "not responding" at the top. I tried exiting out of it and the window wouldn't close, then when it finally closed it disappeared from those small icons at the bottom right hand of my screen right next to the time. So what happened?? I know Answers is safe to use because it never said that any access attempts had been blocked while I was on here but when I wasn't on the net there would be several access attempts blocked, even some that were highly rated according to ZA. I tried searching for it on my computer but it came up with NOTHING.

I was wondering the importance of what tech school you go to or is it better to go to a university. I want to make a secure career for myself and am thinking of ITT Tech, what do you professional people think of that? Would I be better off going 4 years at a University. ITT is credited so is that all that matters?

I had a very deep subconscious "dream" of some sort that involved about a 2 hour long ritual that had me praying to "Lord Satan", asking him to protect us, our families and home (possessions)guide us, etc. I forget all the particulars, but in the end of the prayer session, it concluded with Jesus Christ or in his "name" and support, as if he were in.

Somehow, within this session of dream or subconsiousness, I figured that Satan and Jesus were working together for one better cause.

Everything within my Christian upbringing says this is wrong, but much of it seems correct in "theory", as if they were working together and one believed in both of them on one team, there could be a better world.

Don't make fun of me. I am not a psycho. I simply want to understand this and if anyone else had similar experiences.

It was done, with the laying on of hands, and not faultering in standing straight and pointing north and chanting and praying over and over until it was perfect.

For women, how did your honey help you during labor at the hospital, or didn't he help you at all? Guys, what was it like for you while she was in labor, were you scared/sick at all, how did you contribute to helping her along? My husband grabbed my bags and drove me to the hospital, but of course he had to stop at 7-11 for his coffee, LOL. He rubbed my back during labor, and was helpful, but he watched that damn monitor thing (you know, with the paper the comes out) telling me, get ready another contraction is just starting, it got to be annoying really. Other than that he was great except for later in labor when I started vomiting is when he went outside to have a cigarette and I didn't see him again til I was getting wheeled into the delivering room. Thanks for your answers!

I have around 2 to 4 mounds of dirt every morning. I have tried pellets and they don't seem to work. I have a garden area and wonder what to do around that? Any idea will do. Natural remedies to store bought. What worked for you?
