What is the best thing to do when we have a 6 and 1/2 years old who can't see normally when dark, also seemed nearsighted.

Well, please get him to an optometrist, no one on the net can give you a decent answer without looking at the boy /girl first...

Vitamin A may help. A teaspoonful of cod liver oil once or twice daily should be enough. Get your eyes checked by a good opthalmologist. Take a multivitamin, and adopt healthy eating habits.

No one can see in the dark. PLEASE...take your child to an opthamologist (eye doctor) and have a good check done on his eyes if you think there is a problem. Don't make the child suffer.

Your child needs to be seen by an opthomolagist (not an optician) right away. Night blindness is a condition which should be diagnosed and may be treated.

Not to be mean....but most people cant see in the dark

I had night blindness and was near sighted as well.

When I got Lasic Sugery, everything was cured.
