it's a common case of being tensed during exams. all you need to do to overcome this is,prepare well before the exams and have a good sleep of atleast 6 hrs the previous night. you may try writing the answers once without any referrence to the book, once you have learnt them. this way, you can have self assessment and be better prepared! i'm sure this will help you and you'll score well. good luck for your next exams!

Elsa dear I do not know how fast do you read.It seems to me that you are reading fast and to complete all the portion for the test. Also you are worried about the test which is why the fear of getting less marks or grade results into loss of memory.I suggest that you read slowly and repeat the important portion in the mind as well as write the answers on paper within the time limit and make a practice of completing paper or test within the time limit and also answers to all question. After doing this you will gain confidence and will be through in any Exams.Best of Luck.

because sometimes people read soome stuff and their mind aern't really open for the things that they are reading.....
or maybe when you read something you aren't fucusing.....
or maybe you didn't give an enough time for yourself to study...
i use to have the same problem that you have right now...
the only thing i would say... when you study go to the quiet place that you can concentrate... an give much time than you usually does.... see if that would work....

If you are having problems retaining contnet, one of the simplest solutions is to outline as you read. High-lighting is similar, but not nearly as effective.

There are different styles of learning. I never learn well by reading. For me I learn best by doing. Don't tell me, show me..or better yet put it in my hands and I'll figgure it out.

maybe reading is not the best way you learn. people learn in different ways. try being creative with it. i find writing things down helps drive them home into my memory better than just reading them. make visual aids, flashcards etc.
