Fortunately most people saw how stupid it is :-)))

But are there people who still believe in the philosophy of the Victorian plonker Malthus, (that the poor shouldn't breed)?

Hi! I have been with a guy for over a year, I started seeing him when I was 17 and he was 50. He is mean to me and won't let me talk to other guys, go out without him, he calls me names and doesn't work only lives off of me. He gets social assistance. We share an apartment and all the furniture is bought and paid for by me. He pushes me but has stopped really hurting me the past few months. I want out of the relationship but have a puppy and all my heavy furniture that I cant leave and I cant afford an apartment. I wont stay at the shelter because it will not coincide with my job and I hate it. So I called the cops and they didn't think I should press charges because I have no bruises. So he left for the day but is able to come back whenever he wants. As*hole! I want to lock him out forever but the lease is in both our names. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

When I go into a shop and the person working remembers me and asks me how my day was and other questions all of the time and remembers what I like and when he is working with others always makes a point to talk to me and give me attention do you think he is trying to be professional or that he may be interested? Also he is always putting effort into what he serves me and is telling me personal information....what do you think?

Everyone has a number (ya know, the number of people that you have slept with). So, my question to you is:

What do you consider a high, average or low number for someone in their late-20's?

I would say 1-5 is a low number, and over 20 a high. But I am curious to know what everyone else thinks.

I have read many books on the life of Newton, and yet only recently discovered that he, himself thought that his work in Bible study, reading and code deciphering was more important than all that he did in Science. That's saying a lot, seeing as many (including myself) consider him to be the father of the Scientific Method; the foundational corner stone of ALL science today. What codes did he uncover and put to the written page? He spent the better part of 50 years studying the Bible. It would seem that those writings of most concern to us today, would be those which reveal the fate of the present fiasco going on in the Middle East. Grab a hot cup of your favorite beverage and read this: its time to sober up..... the year is 2006. Perhaps you, as have I, have been kept in the dark far too long. You won't get THIS from your Sun day worship service, your pastor, or your priest. http://www.triumphpro.com/2006,_bible_codes,_newton.htm

Let's face it: comic book and animation enthusiasts are often (not always) distinctly seperate creatures. While occasionally converging on a single title, they usually do not enjoy both regularly.

Let's send Yahoo! a message: it's time to have both a comic book AND an animation catagory. We, as both fans of the mediums and Yahoo! faithful, deserve it!

I know, I know, it sounds pretentious, but so what?

10 points for a protest phrase that will win the cold-hearted executives over.

I am. I have given myself to the Lord. Are you ready??? You should be. Your time on Earth is limited. As long as there is oxygen still in your lungs you have one more opportunity. Don't waste it. Where God sends you for all eternity is forever. That will not ever change.

"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."" - John 14:6

Gravity exists. Every time you throw an object into the sky (and it doesn't break free of the atmosphere) it WILL fall back to the Earth. There is nothing that can change that. IT WILL HAPPEN. Because it is a fact. It is a truth. Jesus is the truth. ""You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." - John 18:37

What's the difference between a person who's a sex addict and a person just going through hormones stage? My only guess is that for people whom are sex addicts, it has something to do with demanding for sex all the time, and actually losing their virginity with another person. The person who goes through these hormone stages are completely normal as long as you have total control over these hormones (as in not looking at porn magazines, play porn video games, or even look at porn movies/websites). However, I noticed that there's a medication out there (I saw the advertisement on TV once) for people whom are sex addicts or something. If anybody knows the name of it, does that stuff really work?

I have two stepkids who are adult age 43 and 40,I am 46y/o male,My problem is that my wife and I are trying write a will.We own a small business that her late husband and her started in 1978.We also own a house in the same small town, and a shop where I keep my toys.I am tryng to make things fair because as you see I am about the same age as them and they think that when thier mother dies I should leave the house that we have shared for 18 years and business too.We live in a community property state. We have done alot for her children financially and allowed her daughter to live here for 12 years.I think that when my wife dies that I should remain in the house and run the business as usual. What do you think? The original monies for the house and businees came from thier dad's parents but I have turned the ship around(It was in debt pretty badly when I took over paying the bills18 years ago.
