A few years ago I passed a pub, where someone was singing this on the karaoke. I couldn't rest till I'd bought the Dirty Dancing CD. Patrick was not much better than the Karaoke singer, but I still love his version, he acted it. Good stuff. He wrote it, didn't he? Sorry if my spelling of karaoke offends anyone, I've never seen it written down.
