This is a question that shouldn't need be asked since it involves the way of life we have come to know and love. There are people out there who want to dminate the world with a crazy religion and won't be happy until we are all Moslem or dead. Don't you get it yet? They will continue to attack us. Countries are backing these extremists with money and weapons and hiding behind them in their supreme effort to spread their religion through fear.

Honey, war has been around since the beginning of time. You have to have war in order to have peace...I know that sounds stupid but it's the truth.

The people we are at war with are constantly trying to figure out how to disrupt our peaceful nation. We have our own problems but at least we can go to the movie of our choice or we can go to the concerts of our choice. If we didn't have war we would not be able to know life as we do now. When you get up in the morning, because we've had "war", you are able to put on the jeans and tee-shirt or whatever you want to wear! Nobody likes war, except the Muslims that are weird. All Muslims aren't bad. All Muslims don't want to destroy our country...its the ones that do that we have to watch out for. To keep them away from here as best we can we have to have war over there. That doesn't mean the terrorists won't stop trying to come here but they know if they get caught they'll have hell to pay. If we just sat back and not did anything the World Trade Center thing would just be minor compared to what they would do if they thought they could...

The United States had a reason to be at war every time our people were attacked by terrorists who hated us and wanted us dead. However, no president responded appropriately until 9/11. We are not trying to get any point across; we are trying to stop terrorism so that we can stay alive. We helped the Iraqi people by taking down the tyranny of Sadaam Hussein who had already used weapons of mass destruction to kill many of his own people. Now Iraq is setting up a democracy with the help of America and some other liberty loving countries. The reason it is taking so long is Iraq is still full of terrorist groups and until they are annihilated, the war has to continue.

Power and money are the greatest reasons to be at war. If you ask the government they would imagine all these ''meaningfull'' reasons to tell you why they go and kill people..in most countries who suffer, but happen to have oil or are in a geographical place at the map which has a great importance for the ''strong'' ones to control the area (see Middle East). They ''imagine'' everywhere ''enemies''...just to take over the world!

What war?? Mission accomplished right? Soldiers don't get hazard pay because to get they have to be in a war zone. Sounds like there is no war. It's only a war when GW needs it be one, like in speeches!

If all people thought like you the world would be a better place. Ben Franklin said "there was never a good war or a bad peace"; so you're in good company.

Help the president's approval rating.

Oh, that only happened for the first three years of the war.

If someone (Islamic Jihad) declares war against you, you are at war whether you like it or not. The only choice is whether to roll over and submit, or to fight. But I'm sure you've got it all figured out. Just give all the Muslims a hug and we can be friends. Oh look.. it 's raining Skittles. Isn't life magical?

as everyone knows, OF COURSE NOT. NOT "WE"
"THEY" have. and the craziest thing is that the powerful people all over the world (lobbyists, politicianc etc) have convinced us that everything is fine and we don't have to do anything because they can handle and they care about everyone. but it's all about earning more money (whatever that means).
it's so horrifying if you think about it. i hope we can make world more hominoid -someday.!

It's not a stupid question. I wonder why we have to be at war too. It's all about the oil. And the governments can't get along. I say let the people in the governments fight their own battles! they started the fights we didn't!
