I currently have cable tv and am thinking about switching to direct tv. want to get some peoples opinions about satellite vs cable.

Is anyone else as annoyed with the current standard keyboard setup as I am? It is such a terrible layout. A 5 year old could have designed a better setup. I mean, it was made BECAUSE it was a terrible setup and made the typists at the time slow down enough to prevent the stamps on a typrwitter from hiting each other. It was also designed so that salesmen could better sell typwriters (Notice how you can spell out the whole word TYPRWITER just by using keys in the top row.)

DVORAK is the way to go. Now there is a layout with potential. But alas, like the 8-track player, it never became the standard it should have been, losing out to another product of inferior design.

he and i have been friends for about 14months,after which he asked me out[that was 3yrs ago] then i was 18 and he was 23, i told him we should take things slow and just remain friends.Now[3yrs after] i feel very okay about dating him,always thinking of him,calls him more often than he calls me.............but i didnt know how to bring up the subject,so i called him on phone 4days ago and i asked him if we were just FRIENDS or if there was something more..............and he says "He doesnt know the answer to my question"
Does it mean that he no longer wants to date me?

The truth is now supplanting the fiction. Last Friday, the New York Times ran an editorial, "Young Latinas and a Cry for Help," that laid out the real state of the Hispanic family. A quarter of all Latinas are mothers by the age of 20, few of them married, reported the Times. This out-of-wedlock teen-birth rate is three times that of white teens, and significantly more than that of blacks as well. The Hispanic dropout rate is also the highest in the country — the Manhattan Institute’s Jay Greene puts it at 47 percent...This is the reality of the way things are going. What think you ?

I am trying to find the cookie company who made a swirled vanilla sandwich cookie with a fudge cream center. The cookie tasted like it might have had a hint of almond flavor in it. They also made a cookie that was a fudge sandwich cookie with almonds baked in them with a fudge cream center. I loved both of these cookies. I wanna know what company baked them? I used to get them in Chicago at school. They came in a clear unmarked package. If you have had them or know what company makes this type of cookie, please let me know.

How old were you when you started to try to get pregnant? I just turned 25 and my husband is 24(we have been together for 7 years and married for 3). We feel pressure from both families and our "clocks" are ticking. But like many people we are not financially ok. People say not to wait for money b/c it may never be ok. I just got done with school and have financial obligations from that. we live in an apartment, but we know it wont be forever. alot of people say we are young but we want to be young parents.
