Use a blackhead cleanser (available at any store that sells acne products) and a blackhead spot treatment. You may not have to go get anything new - cleansers like stridex pads (or at least the ones I've seen) take care of all sorts of acne, including blackheads. Check out product labels for more info.

Noxzema's- Countinous Clean Deeping Cleansing Mask
works real good I use it twice a week and it draws out all the dirt. oil, and dries out the blackheads. Best of all it leave your face feeling all tingly. It's like having your very own facial in a tube.
(Shouts out to Noxzema I think I should be compensated for that plug.LOL)

pop them right after you take a shower or steam your face and then pop em. DO NOT use that 2-ended tool, it damages your skin. If you can't afford to get a profesional facial - steaming and poping is the best thing. Also avoid wearing oil-based lotions/make-up, cleanse your skin regularly and do not leave make-up on for a long time.

There is a tool I got at the pharmacy and it has 2 ends on it, it pops pimples on one end and the other gets rid of black heads. It was 5 dollars. It works great! It also does not scare your face.

all my friends and i use Clean&Clear Blackhead Clearing Astringent... works for us but none of us have like serious blackheads... so if its really bad I don't know how well this will work... oh, and its painless, you just pour a bit of it on a cotton ball and rub it all over your face!

biore strips are awesome. I have also heard something about using elmer's glue instead if it is too expensive... that you let it dry and then pull it off and it works the same way. Don't squeeze- it just makes your skin red and blotchy.

a comedone extractor, they might just call it a facial tool but you have to make sure that your face is nice and steamed so that your pores are open you can buy it at the drug store...less hassle...the Biore strips
