I believe that rituals came about as a way to cellabrate and ensure the future. Someone would do something specific and then, by chance or otherwise, a good growing season would take place. The next year, the person would repeat what he did the previous year with the hope of a similar outcome. Myth began as an explanation of how the ritual came about (usually in a supernatural way). So, I guess that I believe that ritual came first. Any thoughts. I just read my question, and I didn't really express myself very well, but you should get the main idea of what I'm trying to say I guess.

i am a white female in an interracial relationship and i find myself being somewhat racist towards white men. i mean i'm not an extremist i don't go around like the KKK does with blacks or anything of that sort. I'm having the loft insulated and I was scraping the veg. (We grow our own) when the guy came in for his cup of tea. "Do you ever fancy a change?" He said, biting into a Jaffa cake. My Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse are not detected on the system boot screen, but work perfectly fine from the logon screen forward. I have the newest version of iTouch etc. 'Keyboard initialization failure' is a common message now every time I startup. It tells me to press F8 to change the settings. How am I supposed to do that if my keyboard wasn't initialized? If anyone has any suggestions let me know. This is starting to get VERY annoying.

the child care worker grabbed him by this shirt a gragged him also and the put him towards the window and shouted at him to sit in the corner.The centre told me by phone 13 days after it had happend to my son.I requested a copy of the incident report because another staff member witnessed the incident and made a compaint to the director of this centre.The board as now told me in writing that this women will be getting her job back and she will be under supervision for 6 months then she will return to normal duties. i want to get advice of what civil action i can take against this women and this childcare because this physical abuse as happend to my baby and i need urgent advice from anyone whom may have law experience or my have happend to their child and what is the procedure pleade this is urgent!

It seems to me, all these appliances they build are no longer built to last. They used to be. Look at those old fridges in people garage. They still work. My Grandma left me a waffle iron and blender from the 1950's and they still work.

But it seems like in my fifteen years of adult life, every time I turn around I am replacing something I bought--washing machines, TV's, vacuums (I have had 3). THe list is long.

It's frustrating. Not only from an economic stand point but environmentally as well. I hate to think of the portion of land fills that our not working stuff is in.

Thoughts, gripes, suggestions?
