I was born in England but I am of Polish ancestry and speak some Polish. I have just finished my degree and was wondering whether there was any demand from Polish people in Birmingham for English lessons.

You'll be really up against it. The locals don't even speak it

Try putting a small ad in the local paper, or advertising on bulletin boards at the university or at colleges of further education. Also you could try AdMag and things like that.

Why not set up a basic free website advertising what you are offering? Try something like Geocities or Lycos Tripod to get started and then let the search engines work their magic...

Or have you considered offering to teach Polish to English natives?

NO...NO...........NO. But, are there any English in Birmingham, who want to learn Polish.

That is more like the question, you should be asking.
