Judging by the answers to this question so far, it appears that Muslims are willing to condemn terrorism, but at the same time they don't believe that any of the violence recently committed by Muslims actually *was* terrorism. Strange.

Prophet Mohammed (peace upon him) said the following things:-
1) Our purpose in life is to gain a place in heaven
2) This can not be acheived by committing suicide - a sin!
3) The murder of one human being is equivalent to the murder of mankind which is a sin!
So if we look at your average 'Muslim' hijacker/terrorist.....(Muslim terrorist - an oxymoron thus Muslim in speech marks)
- Anyway he recites the Qu'ran, whilst killing himself along with others all in the name of the Almight Allah....so he can gain a place in Heaven - and he calls this JIHAD (perhaps another topic)!
I condemn anyone who commits terrorism whether they are Muslim, Jewish, Christian or any other denomination. I further pity and pray for their victims and families more rather than focusing on hatred towards the perpetrators. I am a Muslim - my beliefs are for me and no one else. I don't ever wish to force them upon anyone else.

Yes sure,Islam does not advocate terrorism and there is no exception.
The only problem with Muslim today is on the view who is the actual terrorist.
There are also genuine freedom fighters which labeled as terrorist.Worst still-some even think and labeled all Muslims are terrorist.

in Islam violence is prohibited. people who are using the religon for terrorism or other things are not PROPER MUSLÄ°MS.
Ä°SLAM as a religon is said to be the most peaceful religon. I as a muslim ( not sooo relious though ) feel ashamed of those people.
So just try to learn about Ä°slam deeply from other places and forget about those crazy people.Because really that is not Ä°slam. And don't CLASSÄ°FY all muslims as them terrorist.
THANK YOU
