I have a bit of a clue, but not the full answer. I went to a place called Domeabra in the same region and that meant 'if you love me you will come'. Do means love in Twi, the most spoken language in Ghana, native to the Ashanti Region where Dominasi is also located in. So this is an Ashanti town or village you are talking about, so it falls under the chieftancy of the King of Ashanti in Kumasi. The founders are probably under that same system, as the kingdom grew more villages and towns were founded with Ashanti-Twi names. Sorry can't help any more, but ask some Ghanaian what it means, there should be many of them online.
