Of all the species that have ever existed, why is it that only man has evolved an incredible brain that separates him from all other species? It seems to me that the theory of evolution suggests that there would be various levels of intelligence, making a gradation from beasts to homo sapiens. Why is there such a huge, huge gap between mankind and the beasts? I am looking for a rational, scientific opinion, not spiritual.

my pc is only two months old,windows xp media centre,i have outlook express,internet explorer,ms works and numerous software..a friend gave me some software-office 2000 includes sp1,word,excel,powerpoint,access........what i want to know should i install this disc,will it be out dated or could it conflict with my system.it would be helpful if you could describe what would be included with this software as i'm sure you can tell i'm pretty new to PC's....thanks...

Been together ten years, he travels, always has. But it wasnt a problem untill about 8 monthes ago. Now he has hooked up with a front desk girl from the hotel he stayed at. I bought a portable dvd player with icons for... play back, pause,on, off, record, etc, etc. I've had this thing over a year now and still cannot (fully) get used to where or what these icons mean. Further......why dont they print WORDS on these machines so you can see them in half light from a distance. I am not blind by any means, but I do wear glasses and the whole thing is infuriatingly FRUSTRATING having to go to the instruction book. Please dont tell me it's because there is no room to put them, or most of the icons are well known, or its 'just cool'....that's nonsense!

We all know when you see a kid from WHITE FATHER, ASIAN MOTHER.. he is biracial. BLACK FATHER, WHITE MOTHER also. In mexico there's people who are Lighter than others.. some look very white,, some look very dark.. But i believe mexican people are pretty biracial too, and in America it doesnt seem like we are considered by racial. Also, white people are biracial sometimes.

Anyways, If we know mexican people are all Mixed since colonial timess and probably White people too.. and even black people and asians. Why is it, we make a fuss about Clearly defined ( black & white OR black & asian or White & asian)bi racial children, when actually most people especially mexicans are so multi-racial. My parents are from mexico and although the end result( that's me) does't look white, actually my father is kind of white with red hair and mother is darker with black hair
