Well Al Gore has been trying to make people wake up to the reality that Global Warming is Real, but many pass it on as baloney.

We are in an interglacial period in the history of this rock. A tad of it has to do with global warming but most of it is natural... in my opinion. No one can predict next years weather. Each year is different... some years we have droughts, others we have floods, some years we have heavy rain in the spring, others we have it all summer or the fall. it's a crap shoot and not even the best of both sides can prove it's global warming from greenhouse emmisions or just the normal cycle of the earth!

As I'm not a psychic or the author of the 2007 Farmer's Almanac, I couldn't possibly predict weather a year in advance. My guess is that it's fairly safe to say that next summer will also be warm... but that's just a stab in the dark...

Who's to say it's too warm this summer? Heat waves are nothing new.

Many people died because they were probably in failing health and they did not or could not hydrate themselves properly or move to a cooler area. Unfortunately many elderly living alone can succomb to this.

By the way, global warming has almost nothing to do with the ozone hole.

I believe it's because we cut down too many trees. Trees provive natural
cooling and shade, keep building stores and parking lots all heat
holders that take eons to cool when its hot and sunny. That is why people
go to the mountains to get cool.
