In a single paragraph, everything I hate about Pat Buchanan.
Nothing is 'superior' about American culture and the Christian religion. It is that very chauvinism that has gotten us into the mess that the global political situation is in - and it will require nothing less than a huge dose of humility on the part of the Buchanans and Bushes of the world to get us out of it.
I'm not sure we'll ever hear it. That's why I feel I have to maintain hope for the next generation of young Americans. We all need something to believe in...

Just because our culture is wealthy doesn't mean it is superior. Pat B. and Pat R. and Bubba the President think that God talks to them. Lots of people do. But then why don't all these people agree with one another? If our culture is so superior, why couldn't we stop two jets from running into two skyscrapers? Somebody was asleep at their desks, or worse. 9/11 could have been prevented with the men and equipment we already had.

The only thing to remember is that Islam is a false religion with a false prophet. Mohammad stole much of the old testament, twisted it to fit his own demented reasoning., then created the Koran to battle Christianity.
The Muslim & most of the Arab nations come from the forsaken line of God’s children. Noah had 3 sons; Shem, Ham, & Japeth. Ham walked in on his father when he was naked and Noah cursed him and his lineage forever. Shem was the son who was blessed by Noah and God. Japeth just sort of stayed in the middle.
The Jewish people come from Shem. They are God’s chosen people.
The Arabs come from Ham. They are God’s forsaken people.
The Gentiles (all the rest) come from Japeth.
The funny thing about all of this is that all the fighting between the Jews & Arabs for the past 5000 years has pretty much just been a prolonged sibling rivalry.

Christianity isn't a Religion, is a philosophy and a Faith, religion is a doctrine or it can become a doctrine if the faith and the believed point exactly to his creator, The Christ sample, left the Christian foundation which means sufferings, penitence, sacrifice and acceptance The Catholic church is a Religion, that we practice in the House of God, Giving to us by the Lord Jesus Christ.

What "culture" is he referring to? If he is referring to the United Statesian (United Statesian, because "American" is a misnomer since it also refers to Canadian, Central American and South American) culture--it is composed of all cultures and religions (last time I looked). Earthling is "our" culture, and the religion of God is "our" religion. The religion of God consists of all the major world religions. No one religion has cornered the market on God. He belongs to all of us.
When will the United States grow up and get over its national egotism? If we're so religious, why haven't we heard of "humility?
It's embarrasing to be a United Statesian in any other part of the world due to the pride (which goeth before a fall) of the United Statesian ego. Why can't we be patriotic without being nationalistic? Why can't we be proud of the human race, rather than our own particular race? Why can't we proud of the worship of one God, rather than dissecting Him into pieces, each "religion" claiming a piece. Why not put Him back together, and worship Him together, as the One God of the One religion of One Mankind. Is that so hard? so frightening? so dangerous? I can't believe God would rather have us fighting over who has the superior nation, race, religion.
Sorry; I could never believe in that "God".

Pat Buchanan's mind has been warped by his annoying habit of posting random quotes and then only giving lip service to the actual question portion of his posts.

That attitude is what created slavery, caused the USA to invade China 83 times, and killed off dozens of Native American tribes.
Really, that guy needs a wake-up call.

Grace unto you and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Of two sorts of "religion": impure and pure;
"pure religion" (grace and truth) notably paid
a "visit" (not a ransom), to those "afflicted"
with a bad case of life + death (grace + law).
And pure religion ("pure wisdom" from "above":
"grace unto you" from "God our Father") also
arrived "undefiled", and remained "unspotted".
As for Pat Buchanan's defile-ing mouth,
he's as Mt 22 Law Law as "Moses Moses";
Doesn't know "Christ is the end of the law",
"foolish" to law after "delivered from the law",
since the stated result is a latter end "worse".
"From such turn away" (give em both cheeks).
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

IMHO Pat Buchanan has more than a couple of screws loose. What concerns me is that so many listen to him and believe that what he says is gospel.
