Dad is on Medicare and Medicaid and is freakin out about the state of Iowa takin the house. He has transferred the deed to my mother who does not want the house and wants to transfer it to me. I am willing to assume the home and all the details. My family and I sold our home 5 years ago and have lived here with my parents to take care of my father. Is there a certain time frame this should all take place? Can the Estate Recovery Law take my home from me and my family? Can I take out a mortgage on the home and pay them back instead of them taking it? Any help would be greatly appreciated since this is a confusing field.

is it just me or are americans idiots? they are self obsessed and arrogant in the main, all you hear from them is harping on about how they are the best country in the world, theyre like kids who just talk about me ,me , me all the time and its annoying!
they have murdered the english language, i mean if your gonna talk english you should do it properly?
they have bastardised our sports:
cricket - baseball
hockey - ice hockey
netball - hockey
rugby - american football, though i would dearly love to see an american football team take on the english rugby team, perhaps they could even take off their girly helmets and pads and play like proper men, not pansie's who are afraid of breaking a nail!

and they refuse to even call our sports as we do, what the hell is soccor? its called FOOTBALL, why? because you play with a ball and use your foot!! simple eh?
not like your football where you pick up the rugby type ball, then carry it and throw it??? hows that football?

There is a safe refuge about 50 metres away.

Is it better to:

a. Remain perfectly immobile;
b. Move very slowly in the direction of the refuge, keeping my back away from the tiger at all times;
c. Run directly at the tiger with arms flailing, yelling various random song lyrics as loudly as possible?

In general (impossible though that is), would the strategy of doing something as 'unpreylike as possible' deter a wild carnivore better than standing still, assuming physical escape is impossible?

i have never been skinny, ever since i was little i was medium build. i was about 140 pounds (and 5'1...a lil chubby) when i was 16, then i was put on anti psychotics and went up to 210 pounds. i stayed at that weight for about a year and a half, then it just started to go away slowly but surely. The lowest i got after that was to about 145-150 and my weight pretty much just stayed there untill this year. but all of a sudden i am losing weight very quickly and its kind of scary. i was 140 not quite 2 weeks ago. now I weight 124 pounds. i cant eat really, food isnt very appealing to me and i dont know why. what do you think could be causing this? i dont want to loose too much weight,,,i mean, my hip bones are starting to stick out already (i have big hips) and thats bad enough. could there be something wrong with my stomach? also, i havnt been able to go to the bathroom (bowl movement) that much lately either. what can be causing this? sorry if i didnt make much sence, i'm half awake.

I sent a photo to a friend yesterday.(ive just bought a new digi camera)This was their reply when i asked if it was recieved ok:
Received, but it took a while. The file size was 809k, nearly I Mb. For someone without broadband downloading the image would take an age. For email purposes you may need to consider reducing the resolution. How do i do this? i cant ask the responder as they are at work!!!
