Yes, and i use it atleast once a day.
Its just over a gig if i remember. So you will need a dvd to burn the iso.
You will asl oneed a msn account.
And i remmber i needed to get the serial number from microsofts office page after signing up there. New version of office serial number works o nthe beta.
Dont think you will get the aero effects or "Glass"... Either my system is too slow, or its not included.
And DONT download it anywhere but the microsoft site. those versions contain nothing but custom viruses undetectable by any antivirus software.
The iso from microsoft is full version, no nag screen, no word of demo anywhere, and it will work untill mid 07
*i will post the links in a minute.
sorry... this was it...
http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/beta2/en/x86/download.htm
but once you find it...
* Basically go to Microsoft Office 2007 ‘ Get the Beta ‘ Site
* Make sure you are logged in
* Select your Country
* In the gap betwen pressing go and the next page coming up a url will be in the address bar for a second.
* It will look similar to the https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/scripts/office.aspx?lcid=2075&A etc.
* You might need to take a screenshot to capture the image
* Simily enter that url into the address bar and change office.aspx to vista.aspx
* Then it should forward you to the Vista Site
* Finally you will get an email with links to the Beta 2 Downloads(dont currently work)
Update: To Change the country simply change the code at end of the URL, eg change ‘CountryCode=GBR’ to ‘CountryCode=USA’
You can get 2 Keys, each one will activate 10 computers.

The Vista release out there for testing initially is the one that Mcirosoft totally re-wrote, changing over 80% of the code, after having FIRED the entire team and the Executive VP!
And they hope to have a 64 bit version to compete with the really finished and complete BSD, MAC, Linux, Solaris, versions already out there for the past 13 years???
Microsoft tried to get a 64 bit XP out, and then, there have been NO (ZERO, NADA!!!) applications in 64 bit to run on it!!!
Linux, BSD, etc. have had time tested and proven 64 Bit appplications out since 1993!!!
Get some, FREE, as there ARE 800 of them! http://pclinuxos.com

No, Vista has not been released yet. Any versions you see available for download are beta-test versions.
I believe you can download the beta version legally from Microsoft, so why bother getting it anywhere else?
