I ask is Christianity a cult based on the above question and related questions. What disturbs me is that I read in Romans 1:28-31 that all non-Christians are murderors and in 1 John 2:22 that all non-Christians are liars.

I fought 4 years in the military for the rights of all religious people in America to worship in their churches. I'm all for people having their own religion. But it must go two ways.

I believe in protecting my son from going to public school and not having to learn about Genesis or Intelligent Design. What about the non-Christian non-agnostic children whose parents are Hindu and have their own believe?

I love every American and everyone on Earth. If you believe in God that is wonderful I wish I could also believe in God.

But is it the Bible that makes people believe Atheists are murders, badder than terrorists, and liars?

I have just purchased my first house and am looking to rent a room out. Its a 3 bedroomed property with courtyard style garden. They will have use of everything ie. washing m/c, cooker, internet connection etc, utility bills would be included except weekly shop. House is based in Downham Market, Norfolk and has just been totally refurbished with all new equipment etc.

We're not in debt, but we've got a huge lack of income over the next 5 months. I've got 2 jobs and I'm going to school full time -- so I've got as much income coming in that I can get.

However, we still won't have enough to live month to month.

We don't do credit cards or bank loans -- we've got no credit nor any desire to go into debt that way.

But, we do have a 401K with approx. $11,000 in it.

I know all about the potential money that we will lose over the years, but we don't really have any other way to get any income.

Thoughts?

I remember from my youth a big "have to conserve water" campaign (during the Acid Rain scare) but I always wondered because don't we drink water and then either urinate or sweat it out and then it evaporates and then become clouds which rain and then we drink it again.
Doesn't the amount of water (overall in all forms) stay pretty much the same?

Hezbollah is violating Article 58 of Protocol 1 of the Geneva Conventions, which requires parties to a conflict to "avoid locating military objectives within or near densely populated areas." Hezbollah uses civilian homes and neighborhoods to store and launch rockets.

Article 28 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: "The presence of a protected person may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations." This means that the building in Qana where Hezbollah was hiding its launchers was a legitimate military target.

Article 37 of Protocol 1, ratified in 1979, says: "It is prohibited to kill, injure or capture an adversary by resort to perfidy." It lists three types of perfidy; the third is "the feigning of civilian, noncombatant status." That is what Hezbollah does when it disguises its fighters as civilians and hides and launches missiles in Qana and elsewhere.
