ok well i have this piece of art that i drew, there is two hands a man's holding a woman's hand and a tree i just left the background white and did the tree black any other suggestions of what i could add? and what color should i do the hands?

What if you left the hands as a thick line drawing ...black lines with white negative space inside? Then you can color the background with vibrant colors, maybe threee or four colors blending into one another or radiating outward from the tree and hands.

Try filling in the background--it doesn't have to be anything fancy, but some more marks could really make your image stand out.
