Unfortunately, because she is either talking about you, or too obviously, doesn't want you to hear the conversation she's having with someone else. Sorry, good luck.

I guess you never home and/or you been doing your time. I guess you forgotten your wife at home. Do you remember a good times you with her?? before married and after? Did you ever think about what you have done that made her call you than talk to in person? maybe she try to talk to you, when you not listen or to busy to listen or getting mad.??
If you do love your wife so much you wouldn't have your wife call you than meet you in person. I might be wrong, But I rather my wife call me and see me in person. Try to remember good time and compare what you having plm at home. You will notice whoa what have I done to my wife. I know down deep inside you do love your wife, and you would do anything for her she would do the same thing.
Sit down and talk to her listen what she has to say, and you must explain to her why you doing this once you both listen and talk and I know for sure that it will make things better. My points are pricess less. if I was right, so glad you gave me the question I hope that my answer might help.

When my hubby is home, I prefer to spend time with him. He has worked all day, making a living for our family. I have time during the day, after I get off from work, to talk with friends, surf internet, run errands. I want to be home and spend time with him in the evenings.

She's got something to say that she doesn't want you to hear, she's bored, she's got important business to transact--neither of us know for sure. Ask her. Is that all she does when you aren't at home. Is it interfering with taking care of the family. Yakking is a past time of a lot of women. What can it hurt if it's not to the detriment of the family and she's not running up a huge bill.

It could be that when you are home she wants to spend her time with you and not on the phone. I always talk on the phone when my husband is not there, but when he is there, I tend to cut my conversations with my friends short so that I can hang out and talk to him. It probably isn't anything "fishy", but if you worry, you should just ask her.

Don't jump to conclusions. My husband lingers around me even when I'm talking to my mother or my sister. It drives me nuts!! I mean what the hell are we gonna talk about. How his feet stink!!? Give me a break. Sorry if you find out otherwise but it could just be she wants privacy.

Because she is talking about you. Sometimes venting to other people saves meaningless fights.
