It's probably not lipstick but concealer ( the pakaging is what confused your friend). It's used to cover up dark under eye circles. The yellow counteracts the blue tones. But I have a question. Why would anyone wear yellow lipstick? Is your friend color blind?

I have a yellow lip gloss...it gives a very light, golden tint to the lips, very subtle. Looks sort of like a caramel apple.

Yes - the yellow lip stick turns a coral shade when your in the mood. It's like a mood ring. They also have green lipstick that turns pink and a blue lipstick that turns a purple-red and a black lipstick that turns burgundy. You can go on google and look them all up. They are a mood thing. I like the black that turns burgundy shade. It is cool................

Yellow lipstick is supposed to make your teeth look whiter, even if you only use it as a base coat and put red over it. Not sure if it's true, but that's the deal.

I suppose its like a base for lipstick. Sort of like a way to make the color of the lipstick more subtle.

Dear Janika,
Perhaps it's meant to flouresce under ultraviolet light - it would then be useful for clubs and raves to attract attention to one's lips.
