While learning English is a tough language in and of itself to learn, how do they deal with such phrases like Jumping Jahilliwades, applepandowdy, whatchamacallit, hiyamadoodle, thingamabob, poop digger, caddycorner, discombobulated, skeedattle, lickadeesplit, diddlyesquat, lacadaiscical, rambunchous, scalywags, rigamaroll, malarky, monkey paste, etc. etc. Some say that there or more than 250 of these types of off beat, not in the dictionary phrases.

Im a Born again Christian and I recently was baptised. Well yesterday two mormon guys came to my house telling me about this prophet named joseph smith. Saying he was chosing by god to set everyone straight. So they pretty much told me I needed to stop reading the bible and read the book of mormon that was wrote by this smith guy. I always thought religion was about faith well these guys pretty much told me to read the book of mormon and pray and demand a answer from god that mormons are the right way to go. tell me what u people think

OK, I've been looking at some trucks and I have narrowed it down to the Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab, or Nissan Frontier Crew Cab! Which one is better overall in everything! please advice! I Personally like the Tacoma better because it looks like its more durable and better quality, but I may be wrong!

I lost a very close friend 10 years ago. After his passing, I became very close friends with his family. Over the years, I have lost touch with them, and miss them terribly. I talked to his mother about a year ago and she was doing so well for the first time in years. I'm afraid that if I contact them, it'll bring back bad memories. Is it okay to contact them, or should I avoid them, and let them "move on"?

I would like to know how to separate gold flour from a bunch of sand and dirt. I would rather not do this chemically as that can easily lead to spills and possible heath problems. I've had it assayed and it is a good purcentage gold, but I'm too new to prospecting to do this properly (first time actually) anyhow any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the pharmacy, a man asked to talk to a male pharmacist.
The lady at the counter said that she herself was the pharmacist, and that she and her sister owned the store, so there were no male employees. She then asked how she could help.
