If israel will leave the border regions and the lebanese army take over the israeli positions, I believe fighting will decrease or cease, just because the fighting will now become hezbollah vs. lebanese army, and I think that will result later in negotiations and eventual ceasefire, both sides cannot afford to lose too many people fighting each other and leaving their common enemy (israelis) free.

Perhaps I missed something. When you say that Israel might leave the region, what region do you mean? Do you mean pullback from their own boarders since I don't recall hearing or reading that Israel has invaded Lebanon?
If 15,000 Lebanese troops move into the boarder region it will definitely increase tensions and the potential for increased conflict, death and escalation. Also, would the world see such movement as support for the Hezbollah terrorists?
Bottom line, Lebanese troops in their own country pose no immediate threat to Israel or any other country unless they move across their boarder.

Odds are it will increase. I believe Israel will try to avoid fighting with the Lebonese 'proper' army. However, I also believe that Hezbollah will exploit the situation and create a situation in which the Israelis and Lebonese will initaite combat with each other.
