Now that Israel and Lebanon are in yet another religious war it makes me wonder how do we resolve the "my God is stronger than your God" wars. All I see is Jews, Muslims, and Christians all fighting over who God gave property to. Maybe it's time to put it to the test. Let us have a contest to resolve the issue once and for all as to what God's will is.

The last sixteen American presidents, starting with Woodrow Wilson (elected 1913) have all been Trinitarian Christians (Eisenhower was raised Jehovah's Witness but became Trinitarian during his presidency).

Yet among the first sixteen American presidents, I can find no more than six who could clearly be classified as Trinitarian Christians. The majority of the early presidents were Deists or Unitarians.

My question is this: what happened? How did the upper levels of government in the USA become exclusively Christian - and almost exclusively Protestant?

My fellow shower givers think 7 lbs is enough, I say we need 25 lbs. I was quoted a price of 140.00 including the breadsticks and they think thats too much. How do you suggest I present my argument when I have already been snapped at by one of them that they can do it for less and she plans on only making 7 lbs. The bride to be will be devastated when there isn't enough to feed everyone.
