can u suggest the basic advantages of having one

* You get instant feedback with every shot, including a histogram.
* Digital SLR cameras have better low light performance than film (image quality is the same under normal conditions, and film is still better for black & white.)
* You can retouch, print, or email pictures as soon as you get home.
* If you shoot a lot, digital is cheaper.

well u can store way more pics in a digital camera u can zideo tape in sum u can zoom in to pics and out ! there way cooler um the only reason y i wouldnt get 1 is that if u dont use durricel batteries and u use the cheap crapy one then u go thru batteries none stop and ewn u by a digital camers and u wont more pics then u gotta buy a memmery card it should say on the back of the package that the cameras in wat kind to get !! hope this works out

Even a cheap digital camera takes far better pictures than your film camera.

Go with a Digital SLR. They have the best of both worlds and it will be better at taking pictures since you know how a SLR works
