We haven't done it for 30 years, but gas prices are sky-high. Wouldn't it make sense to drill in the US? We could do it in a nature friendly way.

Since prehistory mankind has sought to rationalise the world using a creator and tribes have installed a system where all whom belong to the tribe will follow their given religious system. Over time religions have died out, not because any are necessarily more true than others but mostly through the dominance in war of these tribes. Judaeism spread because they invaded such a large part of the middle east that it became the natural religion for centuries. Then one day, for example, the prophet Mohammed came along and said "believe this", and when he was laughed at he brought along an army of thousands. Is that a good way to decide faith? And yet it is the same with most major world religions and free thought is actively discouraged. If religious leaders and religions themselves are so worried about being questioned doesnt this pose the possibility that there is no rational reason to believe any of it? This is not to say that anyones beliefs are wrong but oughn't we to question them?

How do you motivate a 12-year old to do well in his studies? My brother is smart but he's just lazy. And he never deliver his promises. His final exams are around the corner and he still hangs out with his schoolmates after school. He's not serious about his schoolwork.

What can I do to motivate him to do well? My parents aren't strict with him. I've tried everything I could to help him but he isn't trying hard himself

I have a Credit One credit card with a $200 credit limit on it. The bill is due tomorrow (Wednesday, July 19) but I just mailed out the payment today. Will my credit be affected by them receiving it a few days late, or is there generally a grace period since the check is dated and postmarked before the duedate?

my girlfriend is my life, but her friends are dumb and when I say dumb I mean dumb. My girlfriend as a gorgeous face and body and she's smart with a great personality. Her friends be trying to push up on me and be trying to touch my d*ck,and I don't appreciate that. And I told my girlfriend cause I felt like that's something that she need to know cause we've been together for 5 months, and I want that to be more. So then she comfronted her friends or whatever like that and they said they haven't so she she told me she do believe me. So my friend is one of her friends brother, and her friend tried to set me up she called my girlfriend over to there house. So then later when she seen my girl come she came and the bathroom when I was using it and her other little dumb friend told my girl to come in there and it wasn't anything going on accept her friend trying to get up on me.And my girlfriend and her start fighting...So what should I do to make things right?

there are 3 brothers andrew, jack & tom,
everybody thought he was smarter than the others, so they asked their fourth brother nathan, to test them,
so he told them as follows in a separate room u each will get a red or blue dot on your forehead, when u get out of the room if u see atleast one red dot on somebody elses forehead u must put up your hand, then whoever says what color dot is painted on his forehead wins.
he then painted all red dots, when they got out of the room of course everybody raised their hands, but after deep concentration andrew the smartes one said : "i have a red dot" , how could he be so sure?

OKay so I know like do your chores and stuff but heres the problem:My brother and I fight a lot. It starts as talk arguing then he hits me. I scream.
