i've been in this relationship for 8 months., he's a sweet guy; but it seems like everything bad that you go wrong has happened in the last 3 months. I hate the way he handles his situation and i want to help but he won't let me. Also a small part of me feels like so distant from him, but how can i leave someone that is going thru so much and thinks i'm the only thing holding him together??

I have been married for four year to a great man, but his problem is that he abuses his medication and has for years. I am tired of the lies and betrayal. He is going into a treatment center in a couple of week. Just last night he lied to me about one of his medications and I just don't think I can take it anymore. I love him and do not know what to do. I want him to get help and hope that our lives will be better. We have a daughter and I am hanging in for her. He has not worked in over a year because he is trying to get Social Security for narcolepsy, which I know he will never get and we have been on welfare for the past 7 months. This is not life I had dreamed of. If anyone can offer some words of wisdom that would be great. His family says stick it our, mine says run for the hills. I am just confused and torn apart.

Ok, let's say that there is an attractive girl. This girl has no problem getting asked out, but most of the guys that are asking her out are only wanting to "hook up" with her. The few guys that might be sincere are unfortunately not her type...whether it be looks or personality. The guys that just want a piece are often very good looking, but once it is realized that they only want a piece, the girl loses interest. My question is, why is it that the attractive guys only want her for sex, but the least attractive guys are willing to date her? Why does it seem that attractive guys and lesser attractive guys have complete opposite ideas when it comes to the same girl? By the way, the girl is not a slut and she does not have a reputation for being a slut. So that is not the reason.

This is my day off and I had a whole list of things to do today. Things such as mow the lawn, scrub the bathtub, empty all the litterboxes,and scrub them good before refilling..things like this.

I woke up this morning with a headache :(

I think my head wants to kick back and relax, but I want to use this time to get things done.

I mowed the lawn, but my headache got worse, so I came to Yahoo Answers to relax a bit before sallying forth. Since I am here, I will ask this question.

How do you get your mind to stop interferring with the ability to get things done??

Should I kick back and relax and give in to myself??? Or should I work through the pain???

I am going to work through the pain, but I want to know what others would do.

I don't want to marry someone who is married or that still want me to bear children for him, all what I want is sleeping together, discussing on progress, feeling at home and staying with each other like husband and wife. If he wants me to be bearing his name, no problem and if he doesn't want no problem either. I just want to live a lively life with happiness and the person should be trustworthy.
