well...MBA students are generally from different back grounds...so it really doesn't matter if yours is a science.
since you are into Finance, I think finance field will be a good choice for you...especially corporate finance, investment and risk management....well...thats what mostly finance is about and I am into it as well...and one thing is for sure...they pay good in finance...but I am into it coz i love this subject...and definitely not for the pay.....so at the end its up to you....and your choice...and I strongly believe that to succeed one must enjoy what they are doing....so if you think your real interest is in software and stuff...I guess you should start with IT companies....
getting a job wouldn't be tough after MBA finance but of course your b- school will play a good role when you go for jobs...of course the first one though.....but i guess most of the b-schools have placement cell and you'll have a choice when you sit for your placement....
anyways...all the best
cheers!!!

Of course, this is going to depend on your personal skills and past experience. If you've had little work experience, you'll need to look for entry level jobs that interest you. You become a CPA (certified public accountant). You could work in the accounting / financial side of any major business. You could try a bank or other financial institution. Or you could use your MBA simply for the extra insight it gives you in how financial systems work and pursue a career in computer science.
If you're just starting out, it all depends on what you want to do and what you really can do. Education isn't a magic key that means you're qualified for a particular type of job. It's whether you're able to apply the education that matters.

That's cute, your first question, welcome noob! I have my MBA but you can't have it in finance necessarily. You have so many options. I am a financial advisor and studying to be a Certified Financial Planner. Your possibilities are endless. I would try www.monster.com because they have options all over the world.
