I moved from Canada to Korea, and being that I need the good grades to enter university when I return back to Canada, I need to start homeschooling. HOWEVER, I'm going to be doing...independent-homeschooling (if such a definition exists). Since my parents can't help me (they're busy with work) I'm on my own with the whole studying stuff. I'm a 17 year old girl.....is it possible to homestudy by studying alone??? I mean, reading about other Homeschoolers, they study together as if they went to school, and they have there parents to help. But me.....

I am in highschool and one of the questions that really bother me is this one. Most people say that Maths is interesting and you can enjoy it, but to tell the truth I really don't see it. It's confusing, complicated, and I have to be honest really boring. If you find Math's interesting what made you like it so much, and how can I gain that feeling cuz I think that it is a must in seniour highschool.

Hi, i'm a designer and i know that being creative is very important.

So it is about a cartoon drawing. But lately, i was very pissed off when my friend stated that one of my drawing is a copycat to some drawing. i just don't how to make an argument with him.

To some degree, design grow/expand by copying other design then improvise it. it IS true. But not 100%, agree?

It is just NOT fair if you see a man, you draw a cartoon of his eyes, then your friend says that it must be a copycat to some drawing style. (having said this, i know that when i draw, i don't think of any other cartoon, I just draw what looks nice to me)

what i do is not to copy other drawing BUT to think how i'm gonna make my drawing more like a drawing, how to make it looks nicer.

Tell me if being creative in making new drawings really does count.

Please help me explain/clear this matter to my friend.

well its now a regular phenomenon to offer gifts to show you really care for the one you love! Does that concern is absent without offering gifts?

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all beautiful religions. While I see Jews, Christians, and Muslims getting along peacefully in my job regularly, there is clearly tension among believers of these relgions, which leads to much suffering.

Can more be done to bring people together? If so, what?

(the simplistic "all religions are bad" or "they must all convert to my religion" answers won't help much)

Governments and terrorists organizations have different agendas which can make WWIII happen. Without their greed for power and wealth, can we people stop the threat of war by spreading peace and love and respect for all race and religions in our world?

I know this is probably a stupid question as it depends on pain threshold etc and will be different for everyone, but in your experience what was it like? Also, where is the most painful place to get one done? And the least painful? Any advice / help to take the plunge is greatly appreciated! FYI I am after a small shooting star on my inner left wrist.

Cheers

PS If you can recommend a good artist in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, that would be helpful.
