he is maybe 5 in. and he was like 1 when i got him. i only give him pellet stuff to feed him!

goldfish can live up to an average of 10 to 30 years in good conditions. they can grow up to 12" so it would be wise to get him at least 20gals all for himself.

the oldest goldfish recorded was 43yrs of age.

I had one that lived to 10.

They can live to 10 even 11 years with good care!

With good care, some goldfish can live well over ten years. I've also had goldfish and a pleco (algae eater) that long.
