once awhile would do the trick... just small thoughtful (or even handmade!) gifts would speak alot. plus don't forget to not just give her the gift! give her your TIME and ATTENTION. it's all those that actually matters most and gifts bring in the magic. plus if you don't spend time with her or pay attention to her how would you know what her heart truly fancies? =) go figure...

Well, your question is relatively easy.
It all depends on your partner. If your partner's language of love is gift, then obviously you need to shower him or her with gifts. This action translates into love and your partner will know that you love him/her.
If your partner's love language is say, acts of service, then obviously you cannot buy gifts all the time. You may want to pick her up from work, cook a meal for him, wash the dishes after the meal, make a card rather than buy it etc.
If your partner's love language is spending quality time, then no matter how much house work you do for you partner will not be appreciated. So spend the weekends doing something together rather than hanging out with your frens. Watch a dvd together, dine out and take a walk at the beach or something.
Basically, if you want your partner to see your love, you got to look from his/her perspective and work from there!

Save your money! If you have a hunch that it's over, you're probably right. Gifts might buy you some more time but it will only be harder on you and your wallet in the end. Buying someone a gift to stay with you is more like trying to guilt someone into staying with you. Don't avoid the inevitable.

No.. it's the heart that counts.. i wouldn't want a bf to be constantly showering mi with gifts but yet on the other hand no time for mi..
But sometimes a small gift could surprise ur partner and made her day..u dun need to do it regularly... the most impt part is the surprise part...

Not expensive ones. Just the ones you deem fit for the other person. A card for your monthly anniversaries and small inexpensive gifts are good. Self-made gifts/card even better!

Not exactly, even a small phone call can work as magic. But yes you cannot expect the same from every person.

It all depends on the gift if you know what I mean.

a gift is just to make the other party feel that she is appreciated but the inside feeling is still the best thing to express your love.

If you have to buy gifts for somebody to like you... they don't really like you...
