I am throwing a surprise birthday party in September for my brother's friends younger brother who I tutored this year. I would like to keep it low cost and things. I have found all the plates, and invitations at party city, for $30. I also found a HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign included in that price. Can you give me tips on a main dish for dinner + sides + snacks? It will be outside, with capture the flag etc.

Ideas on games, food +, for a good price?

I ate what is possibly the best Indian food I've ever had this weekend. I had Chicken Korma, and I've looked for a recipe online for it so I can make it at home. All the recipes I've found call for onions, and the dish I had this weekend had no onions in it. It was a tannish/dark yellowish sauce, creamy and had a few raisins and almonds in it. I didn't taste any onions at all. Can anyone help me out??

I am disheartened by the silence of domestic Iraqis applauding our hard fought efforts to free their country. I am equally disheartened by the silence of domestic Muslims condemning radical islam.

Hi Everyone,
All of the ladies that I've asked this question to has given some pretty vague replies.

So, have at it. What's romance to you ?
What was it that made it romantic ?

Also, if you could write down your age range like mid-20s and so on, that would be fantastic.

Thanks,
Randori

My dog eats my kittens "poo". I was told by a friend that it's ok because she eats it because there is a nutrient in there that she needs or something along those lines so I just left it at that, but I want another opinion. Can anyone share some input.

Any recommendations for the best beginning quilting book that you have actually used would be wonderful, too. I'm mainly interested in machine piecing and hand quilting. Thanks!

I won a contest thru the radio for what they're calling a day of beauty (Hair, makeup and nails) and also dinner out.

My question is, that since this is a contest prize, am i still expected to tip at the salon or resturant, or would that be covered by the radio station?

Thank you!

I cut my thumb a month ago - on the palm side directly inbetween where it leaves my hand and the middle thumb joint. In the ER they examined it and said the tendon appeared intact and strenght was good - i was given five stitches and sent home. A month later I am still only able to bend my thumb about 45 degrees, and the space where it was injured is really puffy. My thumb just seems bigger than the other. It doesn't flex when i relax my hand.

I'm just wondering how long it is going to take for my thumb to return to normal? And if I should wait, or see a specialist about it now (which i'm trying to avoid). Advice from medical professionals would be appreciated. Thanks.
