You're right it is terrible. The reasons are many, and my knowledge and understanding is too limited to make any further rational comments.

The fighting all over the world has ALWAYS been there. You just didn''t know about it. Now with the help of the Internet, every incident is noted and reported. The average person just did not have knowledge that these things were going on.

There is no such thing as evil, people believe they are acting to their best moral standards at all times. There is however a problem with humans inteferring with other human's lives, if everyone was more accountable within their own actions and worked on 'fixing' their own problems, instead of assuming others need help all the time surely there would be no need to fight?

We have forgotten why this must be so.
God sent us his Son with the message, and he was tortured and murdered.
So: we shall see wars and rumors of wars until East & West form united governments, and then will come the final and horrible war between those two at the valley of Megiddo in Israel.

Who knows why. However, it is not just at this moment, it has always been the case, right down through history. The only difference now is that the media brings it to our front door-steps and living rooms as soon as things happen.

alot of it is money and mostly religion. People will die to prove their religion is the best and twist it so that they don't feel bad about what they are about to do. Money drives people to hurt. But mostly its some 'big-head' know it all who thinks they are doing the best for everyone, when it is the people who let themselves get in this position who need to sort it. Power to the people.
eg, if enough people decided that royalty/politicians did not have a place in society, they could get rid of it. Power in numbers in terms of the public.
