I don't know why weather should be such a high priority with people when recommending time to visit Ireland since no one goes there for the good weather anyway. I worked for Guinesses one summer promoting their larger around Ireland at the huge range of summer festivals. I reckon that if you want to experience Ireland at its best you should look up the schedule of festivals from An Bord Failte ( the Irish tourist board) web site and schedule your trip around the Isle based on that.... Hang the weather you will have a blast wherever you go. Keep your smile on and your mind open and you can't go wrong.

Hi I live in Ireland and to be honest there's no good or bad time to visit because you don't really come to Ireland for weather because it's so unpredictable, so anytime is great. If you want to check things to do try the FailteIreland website this is the tourist board of Ireland's official website, then you can maybe make your decision based on the activities available.

Hi, i am from ireland, the best way to see ireland is to rent a motorhome and drive around the country. 2 to 3 weeks would be enought time to see all the sights. i personally love the countryside. ireland is a beautiful place all year round, but if you want the good weather you better start packing now!!!
more info about motorhomes available from motorhome.ie

Come to Cork city on the october bank holiday weekend. People come here at this time of the year from all over the world for the Cork Jazz Weekend. Even if you dont like jazz, the buzz around the city is absolutely brilliant and you will enjoy wherever you go.

Now is good as we're experiencing a weather anomaly we actually have sun & heat instead of rain & cloud. But really any time is good we have lots to see & do. Plenty of pubs to keep you busy. And if all else fails we're known for talking alot so that'll keep you busy.

Late June or early July. The west coast is the best. I must warn you that it is a bit expensive but it's great
