So, have at it. What's romance to you ?
What was it that made it romantic ?
Also, if you could write down your age range like mid-20s and so on, that would be fantastic.

Romance to me means paying attention to the details and executing. By this I mean what I like eg; inviting atmosphere...candles, classic jazz, mood lighting, and making this a reality on those days he's knows I will most need this. A glass of wine and a warm fragrant bath is always a plus. Gifts that he knows are fit to my taste not his...again, details. Soft kisses and embraces that don't always lead to sex, but can ( I'm not selfish!). The most romantic thing that has happened to me was a Jeffrey Osborne Valentine's day concert after a casual dinner at one my favorite restaurants. This was a surprise. Later that evening I was given a ruby, heart shaped necklace and I gave HIM a dozen roses. I think sometimes romance is also allowing me to be romantic towards him. It does turn me on to do things for him and see the pleasure and gratification he gets from what I do. It really isn't always about what he does for me. Romance is romance and it's even better when we both show it/share it.
My age range is in the 50's.

well I am the romantic guy sometimes cheesy but well that is how I get the ladies. I did the rose petals in the hotel room the jacuzzi and bought her a huge bear with a dozen roses in a jar and petals in the bed. She did not even realized what was going on when she walked in the room she said the carpet feels weird and then i turned the lights on. she was really surprised and evern cried. I have a picture of her when she saw that big bear at the end of the room. And here last week after getting out of work at 6:00 am I stopped at a store and bought a bouquet of flowers and a card that said how I felt about her. and she totally was not expecting it either.Specially that early in the morning. She said why? There has to be no reason!! Just because.

I think romance is just being with that person and doing something together we both enjoy. Im not really a romantic type of person. But I alwasy thought that having dinner at the house that was cooked be either one of us, or both of us is romantic. Don't need to have candles lit everywhere to make it romantic. For me anyways. Another thing I find romantic that I love, is going out to a secluded place at night and relax under the stars. Just lay back and enjoy it. Just being together is what makes it romantic. The company of each other. Doesn't matter where we are.

I would concider a romantic date along the beavch or a nice pick-nick at the park at sunset! the most romantic thing a guy has done for me is bought me red roses and gave me a cute card that made me laugh but then was so sweet! one more thing if you are going to give her a card write soemthing that will make her laugh but still be serious and dont be scared to show how you really feel about her!

im srry i thought of something else also if you take her on a pic-nik pack maybe soem sandwiches and some potato salad...with soem homemade choclate chip cookies...girl usaully love it when you make something your self...once my guy did this and I LOVED IT!!!! it was just a dream come true

36- the most romantic thing my husband ever did was clean the house and do the dishes so I didn't have to. It is not necessarily flowers, but doing the things we have to do or don't want to do. Like filling my car up with gas and taking out the trash. Sometimes he picks up my favorite "snack" food. It is just the fact that he was thinking of me. Strawberries are not that expensive.
When he gives me things that are not related to sex, he gets all he wants. Giving panties and such is fun but it gets old because the gift is not really for me.

I'm 21 and one of my ex boyfriend did the most romantic thing for me! My favorite movie is American Beauty so one night He filled the bathtub with rose petals from rose he had picked himself and put candles all around in the bathroom for me. And we took a bath together and well you can guess the rest.It was so romantic. I wont ever forget that even though we are not any longer together.

ok the most romantic thing that my bf did for me was the smallest thing on earth, and your going to laugh but it's the little things that mean the most, he was out of town and they had no phone serves, at all, and they are like 18 miles from town, he said that he wouldn't be able to call me, and I felt really down by that, then my phone rang I look at it and my bf is calling me, he said that he went out back and walked like 1/4th of a mile up to the top of this hill, just so he could call me, now that's not candle light dinner, or 12 red roses, that's life. anyway I thought I would share. bye!

Romantic thing I would like is for me and a guy to be on a whcht with the one I love all day then at night watching a sunset while kissing. Then the boat will have a bed room filled with rose's and a bath tube filled with flowers. Me and him will take a bath together and drink champane. Then he would have brote me a victora secert panties and bra to put on then carry me to bed telling me how much he loves me and we just kiss before we make love. I never had anything romantic happen to me but it will be nice. :-)

When I think of romance, I think of those cheezy novels...
Romance to me is just being nice, im not into all that mumbojumbo.. I would just want someone to be themselves and to make me laugh and not be a dick...that to me equals romantic..
im in my mid-20's...

25 and the most romantic thing my boyfriend did was get me a card i know lame but you should know my boyfriend he's not into any kind of mushy stuff that most guys would do to show feeling he likes to pretend he doesn't have them so when he gets soft and shows it it's romantic to me
