If you intend to print the material or distribute it yes it would be an infrigement of the copy right laws. If for your own personal use to present as a class project no. I would sugest contacting the megazine at the email provided somewhere on their site to ask for permission, it will not only be proper but can also give you the oportunity to portray yourself profesionaly on behalf of your program, and would doubt if they would not grant you permission. KEEP THE COPYRIGHTS ALIVE by being responsible.

Your school library probably has a book with all the copyright laws in it. I suspect that the school librarian has an extensive knowledge of its contents. If she doesn't then she is treading on thin ice. It is never a good idea to publish anything without permission from the owners. The only photos you are ever safe in printing are the ones you have taken yourself or have obtained permission to print.

You can get copyright free pictures from Dover Publications. They have books of copyright free graphics and Photos but they are usually old time stars not anything from today.

No, unless you get permission, as copyright laws prohibit electronic duplication of the item. It also sets a poor example for a school, especially to do this ...it will make it look like it's ok to "borrow" online content that we didn't create, perpetuating the idea that it's okay to use things we find online.
Cutting things out from a magazine is different; you are using the actual magazine page (unless you are scanning it for online use or photocopying it for print use).

Ask the copyright owner. FYI, chances are the website is not the copyright owner and they also had to obtain rights to post it there.

This is not something you want to take a chance on, especially if the photos will be publically displayed.

Only if they are public domain. Otherwise you have to write for permission. That;s not hard to do. Look for foot notes on captions. Then go through proper channels to reproduce. It;s time consuming, but better safe than sorry.
