My 5 month old son took a tumble from bed and banged the side of his head on a wooden floor. After observing him for the next few days he appears absolutely fine and healthy, and active, but the huge lump that appeared has still not gone down after 5 days. Is this normal? How long should the swelling last? Before anyone says "take him to hospital" , we live in China and I am less than happy with the standard of knowledge and care in hospitals here. Thanks in advance.

My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married for 1.5 years. We plan to get pregnant next year and our baby will be born when we are 25 and 27 if everything goes right.

We will have our house mortgage paid off next year, and we will have $0 debt. I have a college education and we both have been at our jobs for a couple of years and make a good living.

My mother doesn't want me to have children because she thinks I will have no patience for my children and she thinks I should wait until I am 30 before I get pregnant.

My husband and I rented some movies on pregnancy and babies, and my mother saw the receipt in my car. She frowned and had this unhappy look on her face.

We are happy together and want to start a family, we have had our dog since he was a puppy and he is 2.5 years old and I have tons of patience with him and he is hyper and a pain in the butt!

How do I deal with my mother, she thinks she is entitled to say what she wants about my future kids!

Here is my problem I have two friends one is my best friend who is in her thirites and the other one is a good friend in her twenties. I do not consider the one in her twenties my best friend. Before I knew either one of them they were friends and would hang out together on a daily basis like perhaps once a week or so. I met the best friend at a party and we realized we had a lot in common and became the best of friends. A couple of months later I met the good friend at a party who is in her twenties at a party introduced by my best friend and we became really good friends as well.My best freind does not want to hang out with her anymore. My best freind started behaving like this, when she became best freinds with me. I did not do anything to provoke their freindship. My good friend who is in her twenties thinks that my best freind does not like her anymore. The good freind of mine wants me to ask my best friend why she doesn't like her. I feel used if I do this. What should I do?

I guess I've never heard the word "stone" when referring to weight... I saw it in another Yahoo Answers question and I was wondering exactly what the word means... How heavy is a stone? How many stones do I weigh? Do other cultures/countries use stones instead of pounds or kilos? Thanks for any answers.

If hypothetically, Jesus had put some of his, toe jam, smegma, dandruff, belly button fluff and dried snot in a sealed bottle and buried it, and Christians dug it up and postively identified it as belonging to JC. Would they proclaim it a holy relic and claim miraculous powers for it? If they found some of JCs DNA in this sacred bodily detritus would it be OK with Christians to clone your Messiah and bring him back or do you think the cloned JC would denounce you all ?

George walks in a small Chinese restaurant, found a table and placed his order for a hard-boiled egg. After 2 minutes, Mr. Wong came out of the kitchen with an egg in a plate. George cracked it up and found out that there is nothing but shell. Hungry and angry he again ordered for another hard boiled egg. Again, Mr. Wong brought another one and for crying out loud, George found that it is again empty. He went up to Mr. Wong furious and asked if he is trying to make fun of him. Mr. Wong went to the kitchen got a whip and stormed out of the restaurant into his poultry whipping and shouting at the roosters and hens: “I tord you many times not use condom!”

OK, so... im 20 yrs old and to make a long story short my parents got to my tax return before I did in the mail and cashed it at a bank or some check cashing place using my signature on it which they forged on there themselves without me knowing. I found all this out after speaking with a representitive from the IRS on the phone. Does anyone know what law(s) were broken and if so what is the punishment? I am eager for payback. Cheers!

Many people say to drink while having (oxalate) kidney stones. But, should one drink WHILE attacked by a kidney stone? Some say no, because the (pressure and) pain would get even worse(!). Some say yes, to pass the stone. But if that increases the pain, that's NOT an option (as would anyone say who knows how much pain a kidney stone can give) at all.
