Here is my problem I have two friends one is my best friend who is in her thirites and the other one is a good friend in her twenties. I do not consider the one in her twenties my best friend. Before I knew either one of them they were friends and would hang out together on a daily basis like perhaps once a week or so. I met the best friend at a party and we realized we had a lot in common and became the best of friends. A couple of months later I met the good friend at a party who is in her twenties at a party introduced by my best friend and we became really good friends as well.My best freind does not want to hang out with her anymore. My best freind started behaving like this, when she became best freinds with me. I did not do anything to provoke their freindship. My good friend who is in her twenties thinks that my best freind does not like her anymore. The good freind of mine wants me to ask my best friend why she doesn't like her. I feel used if I do this. What should I do?

You say your good friend "thinks"(?) her oldest friend doesnt like her and wants you to find out why,You know your best friend doesnt want to hang out with her old freind anymore since you have become best friends.Does the good friend know this because you told her? Has the best friend given you a reason for this and do you think its a good one?Youve been put in the middle by your best friend dont you think? Why do you think your good friend is using you to get back her friendship with the other?Im sure she is hurt.I think your good friend should ask her friend why this is happening and maybe they can work it out, it could be a small misunderstanding tell her you dont want to be in the middle but I think you should stay good friends in any case unless you have some good reason of your own not to and not someone elses. If you lose your best friend over it what kind of freind is she anyway?Maybe she is just jealous that you and her old friend hit it off, she did intoduce you.

i would think no, cause you have the chance to save a friendship, you can be the middle person and find out what troubles they have between each other, in could just be a misunderstanding, ya never know.
