Bleeding only occurs if the hymen is intact, and then broken, or if the guy is so rough that he causes vaginal tearing, which is completely unnecessary and due to a lack of consideration on his part. Basically, no, it doesn't have to hurt, but it most likely will since guys are often too inexperienced and/or unwilling to take their time.

Yes I bled.
It did not really hurt, it was uncomfortable. I would suggest some K.Y jelly or something. If your nervous you can be a bit tight.
