As far as the care someone gets..which is best? Home Health Care or Hospice Care..This Lady I sit with isn't doing to well (Just a matter of time). The Family was told to just keep her comfortable,,But she has Home Health Care..but their services are limited. I don't much about Hospice..But was told they could do more than Home Health.

I work at a gas station & get the best results from strangers with a smile & kind word. Some people have told me it throws them that I ask how their day is going, because i seem to care about thier answers.. but when I go somewhere & get no recognition of even being a person, just a wallet.. it seems rude. What do you think??

I recently moved into a new place, and the locks on the patio door and windows don't work. However, there are steel bars provided for all, that I can put between the window and frame of the wall to stop someone from sliding them open from the outside.

The owner, says since the condo is on the third floor of a 3 flat building, and the area is very quiet and residentail, that is sufficient. He also said, the steel bar is more secure than a lock on the window or door.

Would it be too petty for me to request the locks be fixed on all the above? Or what can I buy to lock the sliding windows and patio doors from the inside without the Landlord's assistance?

I suspect the owner would have to replace the windows ect to fix the locks. I'm not sure. Thanks

I'm just curious. I am a healthy young person who has at times commuted over 150 miles per week. I realize that not everyone can operate a bicycle but I would like to see more people out on bikes.
It is good for personal health and better for the environment then fossil feul vehicles.

I find it hilarious, that when sat around in the dark in a HAUNTED room, they ask SPIRIT to rap, knock, touch or show themselves, when there is a noise, all scream and make a mad dash for the door???? I love it, hysterical. Surely it makes sense to remain calm and rationalise stuff?
