It's amazing how unknown VU is despite the fact that they invented alternative rock and are the reason we ever had bands like the Stooges, the Doors, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, and pretty much all other similar bands. They were just as important as the Beatles. I know some people will gasp at that comment, but if you are one of those people you just don't know your music history.

I've always preferred colder temperatures. I know that 75 - 80 degrees isn't too warm for most people, but I really try to avoid heat.
I love it when the temperature in my apartment is around 65ish.

So anyone else like me? Or are you the opposite and actually like the hot weather?

This contemporary Army has the easiest life of any Army in the history of mankind. I saw a woos hummer driver crying about his email account.

I served in the USMC in 26 counterinsurgent operations. Went days without food weeks without clean water lost 90 pounds in combat from extream hardships wounded. Came home weighing 119 pounds. Flip on the TV and see guys in air condetioned Halliburton housing eating steaks and sniveling about life in the green zone.

What kind of crazy war is this???
