This contemporary Army has the easiest life of any Army in the history of mankind. I saw a woos hummer driver crying about his email account.
I served in the USMC in 26 counterinsurgent operations. Went days without food weeks without clean water lost 90 pounds in combat from extream hardships wounded. Came home weighing 119 pounds. Flip on the TV and see guys in air condetioned Halliburton housing eating steaks and sniveling about life in the green zone.
What kind of crazy war is this???

is the type of war that's not justified, it's the type of war that certain people in our current government hoped for (see the PNAC) it's the kind of war that's not going to be over probably until the pipelines get finished you know the oil pipelines, it's the kind of war that does'nt make a lick of sense except only to the elite and war profiteers. it's the kind of war that has been going on for along time now.
War causes wars, nobody ever wins

So you would rather be in a jungle with no food in 120 degree tempetures w/ humidity verses their situation? Grow up and get over it. They are probably more pissed off because the are in a war that no-one wanted or needed except the kurds and probably Israel.
My point is, why are you complaining about other people complaining? That seems lame to me.

Maybe because unlike historical wars the generals and so-called leaders do not show up on the front lines but are conveniently thousands of miles away
