yes i do report people because some people need praying for with their questions and their answers being so innapropriate

Depends. If someone answers a question with a personal attack, I will report it, because these are questions and answers that are supposed to be educational, and many people are ruining it by attacking the questioner, instead of simply answering a question.
If someone disagrees with a questioner, it should be posted respectfully or not at all. I don't think that we should turn this site into the news message boards where 95% of the people who post there is the worst of the worst.

You mean report people on Yahoo Answers? On rare occasions, I have, like when someone just types random letters in an effort to get 2 lousy points, or if someone is just really perverted or racist.
Some people say this doesn't do anything. Do you know that for sure?

I do report people. There are rules and regulations for this website. If they are neglected then nobody will answer questions and several rude, racist, nasty comments would float about. I enjoy yahoo answers and am honored to be a part of keeping it around.
Please report offenders, If its not for us policing our own yahoo answers will be destroyed.

I have, mostly for graphic sex questions, I have also reported for insulting a race, I personally feel there is a way to express ones opinion without racist remarks.

No because it's not that big a deal unless they ask u 4 ya address or like come to ya house and try to kill u thats why ur not suppose to give ya address's and stuff like that out espically to ppl u don't know or ever seen.

If someone insults one of my questions, I'm usually pretty lenient with them, unless they use profanity or insult a member of my family. Then I will report them.

people that gripe people out for nothing in a very rude or vulgar way, yeah. i do report them.
i feel like they dont have any business talking to anyone like that, because nobody treats them like that. they shouldent be able to do it either.

If it's an adult trying to exploit minors, definitely. Often kids just don't know enough to know better, and that's how these sick animals are able to prey on them. Someone has to speak up to try to stop this.
