My internet boyfriend wants to fly out to meet me. He would like to take me out on a date and finally get to talk, face-to-face. I would like him to come to my house and meet my parents before we go out on our date. Is that weird or a good idea? I know my parents would be happier. I am 25 and my bf is 32.

my son has a congenial heart defect. he is now 16 months old. well tonight while eating he passed out. or at least that's what it seemed like to me. first i shook him gently then i lightly tapped his cheeks and that woke him. then just a few minutes later i took him to change his diaper and he passed out or fell asleep again. i have woken him every hour just to be sure and when he stay up everything seems noraml now. do you think the i am over reacting or could this be a sign that his heart is giving him trouble?

also if anyone knows what the normal heart and pule rate is for a child of 16 months i would really appreciate it. I had it in paper work and it is missing now.

What do some people really have against Hispanics and the French? I mean, it is uncalled for to hate an entire group of people, both of whom have beautiful cultures and languages. I have never met a French person I didn't like, unless they were from Quebec. Hispanics have always been nice to us, except for one but she was a self-declared drug dealer who needed a jail sentence. I don't understand messages like 'If you speak Spanish, go home to Mexico.' 7 million Hispanics serve the American economy illegally and deserve equal rights and protection. Why Bush won't let them sing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' in Spanish and some people oppose bilingual education. I think this is rude and prejudiced towards minorities.

This is more like a statement rather than a question but i would like your thoughts if you would. My mom was born into a broken home. This is hard for me to talk about but i cant imagine how it is for my mom. Ever since she was 4 yrs old her father would rape her. the whole family knew even my grandma, but did nothing about it (we think that my anut too was raped, she just never talks about it). When my mom was 15yrs old she was pregant with her fathers child, she had an abortion. And when she called the cops my grandma hide him. Today my mom forgives him, she says he was sick in the head, but i am just glad he's dead.

I am young and have OCD, which seems to be getting worse.
I did notice, in May 2005, a friend started calling me regularly. I enjoyed the calls. The caller would sing to me and play an instrument for me,which also talking to me about anything that went through his mind. An acquaintance of ours moved away late 2005 and because of it, a few incidents occurred. Since the incidents, my friend hasn't called by himself. I noticed my OCD wasn't so intrusive during the times I talked to him, it was almost as if I didn't have to think about my disorder because it didn't matter, but now that he doesn't call anymore, it has come around again, worse than before. It never fully went away, but his calls seemed to help. I'm going to a new school this year, as is he, but we will be in different schools. I thought our schools would play each other in football, but that doesn't seem like it will happen. I don't know if I like him, but I do know we were good friends and I miss his calls. More in a min.

I have a Swollen lymph under my jaw and one behind my ear its not very large but it is noticibly swollen I was researching and found out that it usually occurs to fight off disease, but I dont have any symptoms fever, etc. please tell me what it could be
