This is more like a statement rather than a question but i would like your thoughts if you would. My mom was born into a broken home. This is hard for me to talk about but i cant imagine how it is for my mom. Ever since she was 4 yrs old her father would rape her. the whole family knew even my grandma, but did nothing about it (we think that my anut too was raped, she just never talks about it). When my mom was 15yrs old she was pregant with her fathers child, she had an abortion. And when she called the cops my grandma hide him. Today my mom forgives him, she says he was sick in the head, but i am just glad he's dead.

You have a right to your own, personal feelings about this unfortunate and delicate situation in your family. However, allow your mom to move on with her life. Forgiveness is a first step toward healing. Your grandmother, on the otherhand has to live with the truth about her gross mistreatment of her granddaughters and misguided protection of her son who has gone to his grave. She still has to pay that debt with all of the guilt that must come along with just remembering what happened under her "watch". Follow your mother's strong example. Let it go. He is dead.

Your mom came from a dysfunctional family and through your life, she's found strength and redemption. Your grandfather may have wriggled out of the law's grip of punishment---but he surely found God to be a harsher judge: one who did NOT spare His eternal Wrath on him or your great grandmother.

Those who knew what this monster did to your mother and did nothing are just as guilty!

Your surviving family who knew and protected this rapist and his secret would be wise to atone: they too are on God's list....one they DON'T want to be on.

By being a smart, mature daughter--you each day give your mother a step to recovery. You are your mother's hero and one who should be proud.

that's was very painful. it was really wrong what he did. i think he should have been in prison and i think he deserved to be punished. i mean to think that he raped his own daughters makes me sick, but it's still good ur mom forgave him becuz even God forgave all the other sinners including us. I hope u guys just forget about all that and move on, even though it's hard, but it's for the best.I hope ur mom has forgotten all the pain her own father did to her. best wishes for u guyz and i'm sorry about what happened.please always love your mom and make sure ur always by her side caring for her and supporting her. she needs it. I'm sure u r doing that so thx.
I'll pray for ur family tonite.
