I dance at recitals and competitions, since my mom has helped organize recitals then i know that the money is used to rent the place where the recital is put on, therefore i think that you should deffidently pay the two dollars

pay the $2 god our recital admission is $15 per person no exception or child/senior/student discount. if you get caught your daughter will be mortified. the money probably supports the studio

It may not have occurred to you to talk to the instuctor. Their may even be a way to help out at the performance.
