Did they ever officially cancel it, or just not renew it.

Sure, it's always possible that another network could buy the rights, but that probably won't happen since it didn't do to well in the ratings. Which is too bad, it was a good show.

I read online that ABC is considering bringing it back as a "special event" (a.k.a. made for T.V. movie) sometime in the next two years, but it's not for sure.

I don't think Commander in Chief is coming back. It's possible it could get picked up by another network, but I don't think it's going to happen. There are 2 new channels coming out with all new fresh shows and all the networks have already released their fall schedules. But they could bring it back as a mid-season replacement.

Yes ABC will give the show a TV movie send off.Our president will try to become the first elected Madam President. Maybe ABC will let Showtime or HBO make the show. I feel ABC did a bad job with the show. The show got great reviews.

The only time Geena Davis has gone on to another season is when she played ball carrier for the Eagles.

Got canceled,doubt full it will jump networks,the ratings tanked.
