Absolutely right, and He doesn't need churches, temples, and the other concrete structures. He didn't ask for that stuff.... we did. The only reason those things are mentioned in the Old Testament is because people had trouble connecting to God and He wanted it to be easier for them.
As far as God being omniscient and able to give you anything you want, He can. But, and please don't think me rude, I think you are confusing God with Santa Clause. He isn't some magical fairy tale used to grant wishes. Think about your parents, they probably could have given you a lot of what you wanted-- but you would not have learned how to take care of yourself and become a responsible adult. The same situation applies here. God doesn't hand you things. And He doesn't demand you. That's His beauty. He allows freedom. He lets you choose. Choose Him, choose your path. God desperately wants you, and He allows you to choose Him.
As far as giving you bad desires.
God designed our bodies and minds. What may be a bad desire now, could in the future-- or in a different situation-- not be a bad desire. For example, I'm not married. A sexual temptation now, may be a bad desire, but when I am married-- a sexual temptation for my husband will be a good desire,
The desire isn't the sin, or the problem. Everyone has temptations, even Jesus, God's son was tempted. Our action after the temptation is what God looks at. Again, our action is our choice.
Hope this helps.

There is a couple of possible answers here.
1. Maybe God knows something you don't? Maybe there is a reason He allows/causes bad things to happen?
2. Even if there was no reason, there is nothing that says he is omnibelevelant (all good). He can do bad stuff just because he feels like it. All He does is right, but not necessarily good.
3. The thing that separates a fake god from a real god is that a real god does not require worshipers to exist. In that light, temples and such seems to be more for us than it is for Him.
Temple is a reminder of His message, nothing more or less.

We cannot have everything handed to us and never expect to go through any trial or tribulation. Compare your life and your growth to what happens during the processing of gold or other precious metals-they are heated and manipulated in their liquid form to bring the purest components to the surface and let the impurities sink to the bottom. God is able and is present, but it's not all about what we want. Your bad desires come from the other end of the spectrum, because our lives really are a battle between good and evil, pure and unpure. You have a choice-to strive to become pure or sink to the bottom. To become pure and bring out the best requires some heat and that is applied through trial, so don't doubt God's power, he really does work in mysterious ways. I hope this helps you to keep an open mind-God Bless You!

1. If one believes in creation and there will be uniformity everywhere and no difference among living beings, he is sadly mistaken. Precisely the world is not like that. 2. That GOD is present everywhere, there is no necessity for temples, churches or mosques is not the way the human mind behaves. You have rightly brought in about desires. If one's desire is for the good of him and mankind then his thought, word and deed should support whatever he does. But the creation of this world itself is with all kind of animals, plants and human beings one intruding the other in the normal life. 3. Many a times, unwittingly one is used as a tool for someone's happiness or sorrow. 4. This belief (Confession) coupled with the desire for peace of mind makes a person to follow the scriptures which gives solace to many. Then he selects to follow a particular intrepretation of scripture. 5. Thus differences exist among various followers, so there are problems galore.

Churchs mean money for people. The chuch bizness is big business. truth be told, God is everywhere and owns all this ish and doesnt need money but he deserves it anyways.
Why terrorism, cruelty and bad stuff happening in the world? Because the whole world is sinning and greed and glutony is taking over. We're all going to hell, just a different floor for every level of sinner.
Repent, then die.

First God is not an omnibus.
Have you ever heard of a couple things called sin and free will ? They are why we have these things.
God knows what we want, but He wants us to talk to him and realize that it comes from Him.
God can do all things, and so can His people, through Christ.
God does not need temples, churches, etc. These are for man, so we can have a place to gather.

First of all, read your Bible and you will find a lot of these answers...all this sin is in the world because people have turned their back on God and try to do things their own way and leave Him out of the equation. This planet is only going to get worse until one day when He does come back to earth to clean everything up and take care of some business!

God in His infinite wisdom gave us the rain or the sun, whether we are good or bad. If one wants to be a terrorist or wants to have bad desires or select his church or have his photograph taken, it is his choice. All that God does is good. Birth defect was not caused by God. It is ones doing: bad diet, bad lifestyle, not careful enough, etc..

Is this a rhetorical question? You're asking someone on Yahoo Answers to tell you what God's intentions are. That would be like asking the president to explain the theory of relativity. No, it's even more absurd then that. There are people who could possibly explain the theory of relativity even if GW doesn't know what it is. NO one person knows what God is, how he thinks, what he looks like or what his intentions are. No one.

Makes you wonder, eh?
Maybe man created God in his own image! That would explain it perfectly.
By the way, what do you mean by omniBUS. Is that a joke?
